Anita explains recycling

Eleven children attended the May Book Break on May 1 at the library.  Anita Fisher talked to the children about recycling.  Donna Mayne and Joyce Hiney read books about the subject to the children.

After learning about recycling, the children made May baskets from recycled yogurt containers with the help of parents in attendance as well as Donna, Joyce and Anita.  Once the baskets were completed they were filled with popcorn and candy.  The children had a great time learning about an important subject and showing their creativity making the baskets.
